Britain in Bloom – Double Celebration

This year the Friends are delighted to receive the South West Britain in Bloom committee’s  “Outstanding“ award for our efforts in all aspects of our volunteering efforts in the gardens and the castle. This is a grade up on last year’s level (Thriving)!

We are also thrilled to report that Michelle Greenwood Brown and Alison Miles have won the committee’s Denise James Art Trophy for the mosaic centenary seat. Huge congratulations to the artists for this welcome accolade.
