Friday 17th July – In  spite of very strong winds, Paul of Teign Trees managed to hoist and fix about 30 butterflies into selefosbg butterfliescted trees.  The colourful butterflies made from recycled materials are the work of Yr 2 pupils at Shaldon School, members of the Shaldon Beavers Group and Babbacombe Primary School students.  In its 5th year of summer exhibits, TRAIL (Recycled Art in the Landscape) has extended into Homeyards for the first time.

Spaced around the gardens are 7 other pieces of work by professional artists all transforming materials that would otherwise be discarded.  You can see images of the TRAIL 2009 exhibits in Shaldon and the gardens at http://www.flickr.com/photos/justpassing/sets/72157621867302593/ .
