We’ve come to the end of the 3 month trial period of extended working hours on volunteer days. This was intended to give working families the opportunity to come along between 5 and 8 pm to work and maybe picnic afterwards. Members of our small group did their best to cover the extra hours but if you turned up and found no-one there then please accept our apologies – and do get in touch.
When we were there we received the encouragement of the dog-walking fraternity but no new young families appeared so we’ll chalk it up to experience and move on.
The existing group works on the second Tuesday morning of each month – if you would like to come along but just can’t make Tuesdays then we can always reconsider as long as it doesn’t reduce our numbers further.
