Ceramic Artwork Centenary Seat

In 2022 we celebrate 100 years since the gardens were created by Mrs Homeyard, this being marked by the creation of the ceramic decorated seat which is now installed on the castle terrace. Local artists Michelle Greenwood Brown and Alison Miles have been working hard making, painting and firing the pieces with the assistance of a number of community workshops. We are very pleased to see this come to fruition and wish to thank Michelle and Alison for their creativity and huge skill in producing such an impressive work for all to enjoy. It contains a few little quirky features which you might like to find and we think you will be impressed with this much anticipated feature.
